Vraj Iron and Steel Limited, an India-based steel producer, has approved a new investment aimed at increasing its production capacity.
According to the company’s statement, at its board meeting held on 24 February 2026, the board approved the establishment of a rolling mill at its Bilaspur facility for the production of TMT construction rebar with an annual capacity of 150,000 tons.
The total investment cost is expected to be INR 35 crore plus applicable taxes. Through this investment, the company aims to increase its production capacity in the long products segment.
The announcement was made in accordance with India’s capital market regulations under Article 30 of the SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015. It was reported that the board meeting began at 15.30 and concluded at 16.10.
