In her speech, Özlem Bakırel mentioned that they produce long product groups with a capacity of 700 thousand tons in their profile facility in Aliağa, as well as special profile production in various sizes. She stated that it is a source of pride for Karel Demir Tel companies to become one of the main suppliers in domestic and foreign markets by meeting the raw material needs with many wire types such as galvanized and annealed wire, steel mesh and billet production.
Stating that the decarbonization to be achieved in production will increase the competitiveness of our exports to the European Union within the scope of compliance with the green agreement, Özlem Bakırel stated that as a company, efforts are being made to become carbon neutral. Within the scope of these studies, she mentioned that there are currently 20 MW wind power plants, and her plans to commission 4 MW Solar Power Plants within 6 months.
Stating that they aim to contribute to the country's economy as well as to increase their market share in the domestic and international markets with their 650,000 tons capacity standard quality and high carbon wire rod, coil iron and rebar, raw materials, Bakırel said that great thanks to the Aegean Iron and Non-Ferrous Metals Exporters' Association Board of Directors for their support.
