Vietnam's largest steelmaker Hoa Phat Group has decided to suspend two blast furnaces in Hoa Phat Dung Quat and Hoa Phat Hai Duong from November. In December, he announced that he was considering closing another blast furnace.
Hoa Phat Group owns seven blast furnaces with an annual production capacity of 5.7 million tons. It is estimated that the closure of five blast furnaces will reduce production by approximately 4 million tons.
