VavaCars raises $50 million in Series B round

VavaCars, the second-hand vehicle buying and selling online trading platform launched by Vitol Group in April 2019 in Turkey, has completed its B Series investment tour in the international arena.

In this round, VavaCars raised $50 million to expand its operations in Turkey and Pakistan.

Duquesne Family Office LLC (founded by Stanley F. Druckenmiller), existing investor Vitol and a new investor participated in the said investment round.

VavaCars, which has established its own business model in Turkey and provides services with Petrol Ofisi assurance and branches at Petrol Ofisi stations, continues to grow.

Realizing the purchase and sale of more than 10 thousand vehicles since the day it was founded, VavaCars realized 90 percent of the sales in the business model they pioneered in Turkey (purchased from and sold to individuals and only made online).
