In April this year, US imports of hot rolled coil decreased by 12.8% compared to March and by 27.8% compared to April of the previous year to 130,679 tons.
Canada was the main import center
Hot rolled coil exports to Canada amounted to 96,747 tons, imports to Mexico 7,964 tons, imports to the Netherlands 7,935 tons, imports to South Korea 5,698 tons and imports to Belgium 3,021 tons.
The value of imports in this period amounted to 124.2 million dollars.
