US imports of HDG rose in November

In November 2023, US imports of hot-dip galvanized steel (HDG) increased by 5% on a monthly basis and 20% on a yearly basis to around 166,000 tons.

Imports from Canada were around 70,100 tons, Mexico around 19,500 tons, South Korea around 17,400 tons and South Africa around 13,700 tons.

The value of imports during this period amounted to approximately US$ 194 million.
