US imports of hot rolled coil (HRC) increased by 49% m-o-m and 56% y-o-y to about 233,000 tons in September.
Imports from South Korea were about 86,000 tons, Canada about 81,000 tons, Japan about 27,200 tons, Mexico about 19,000 tons and Brazil about 8,700 tons.
The value of imports during this period amounted to approximately USD 188 million.
