US exports of HDG increased in May

In May 2023, U.S. exports of HDG amounted to 135,200 tons, increasing by 24% compared to April and by 18% compared to May 2022.

Exports to Canada ranked first

Exports of HDG to Canada were around 71,300 tons, to Mexico around 48,900 tons, while exports to other destinations were below 1,000 tons during the period.

Export value up by 27.6% m-o-m

In this period, the value of exports increased by 27.6% on a monthly basis and by 17.1% on an annual basis to approximately US$ 189 million.
