US cold rolled steel imports up 22%

In March this year, US imports of cold rolled coil increased by 22% from February to around 92,000 tons. Compared to the same period of the previous year, they decreased by 42%.

Imports from Canada ranked first

Imports from Canada were around 38,400 tons, from Australia around 22,600 tons and from Mexico around 17,000 tons.

Import value increased on a monthly basis

In this period, the value of imports increased by 22.2% on a monthly basis and decreased by 57.5% on an annual basis to approximately USD 95 million.
