The US Department of Commerce completed the review of the antidumping duty on imported threaded rod from China covering the period of 1 April 2022-31 March 2023 and announced the final decision.
As a result of the review, it was announced that Chinese producers sold the product in question in the US at prices below its actual value during the period 1 April 2022-31 March 2023. It was also determined that the only mandatory participant in this review, Ningbo Dongxin High-Strength Nut Co., Ltd. is an exporter of alloy and steel threaded rod from Germany.
Based on this determination, the US Department of Commerce set the average dumping margin for Ningbo Dongxin High-Strength Nut Co., Ltd. at 35.10 per cent. This rate was determined in parallel with the preliminary results of the antidumping investigation.
