US cold rolled steel imports decreased on a monthly and annual basis

In April this year, US cold rolled coil (CRC) imports decreased by 24.5% compared to March and by 42.3% compared to April of the previous year to around 69,000 tons.

Canada was the main source of US imports

Imports from Canada amounted to about 38,000 tons, Mexico to about 7,300 tons, Sweden to about 6,600 tons and Belgium to about 5,100 tons.

The value of imports during this period amounted to US$85.6 million.
