US announces dumping results on Turkish rebar imports

The US Department of Commerce has published the final results of its administrative review of dumping duties on rebar imports from Türkiye for the 2022-2023 period. The review, which covered the period from July 2022 to June 2023, found that some companies' product sales were below normal levels.

The final decision stated that the dumping margin calculations for Çolakoğlu Metalurji AŞ/Çolakoğlu Dış Ticaret AŞ (together Çolakoğlu) and Kaptan Demir Çelik Endüstrisi ve Ticaret AŞ/Kaptan Metal Dış Ticaret ve Nakliyat AŞ (together Kaptan) were revised in line with the comments obtained during the evaluation process.

According to the results, the weighted average dumping margin for Çolakoğlu and Kaptan was determined as 1.13%, while the sales of İçdaş Çelik Enerji Tersane ve Ulaşım Sanayi AŞ (İçdaş) did not include dumping and therefore its margin was zero (0.00).

It is stated that the rebar imports subject to the investigation entered the country under the US Customs Tariff Sub-Location Numbers 7213.10.0000, 7214.20.0000 and 7228.30.8010.
