Ukrayna çelik üreticileri, Dünya Çelik Birliği (WSA) tarafından hazırlanan uluslararası çelik üreticileri notunda, 11. sıradan 13'e düşerken, Eylül 2017'de yıllık % 0.8 artışla 1.845 milyon tona çıktı.
