According to Ukrainian customs data, the country’s pipe exports fell by 5% year-on-year to 329,000 tons during the January–August 2025 period.
During this period, seamless pipe shipments dropped 13% year-on-year to 262.000 tons, while welded pipe exports rose 44% to reach 67.000 tons. In August, exports increased 19% compared to July, reaching 21.000 tons.
During the same month, seamless pipe shipments grew 40% to 12.300 tons, while welded pipe exports remained at 8.300 tons.
Ukraine’s exports to the United States were recorded at 98.000 tons in 2024. However, in 2025, the 50% tariff imposed by Washington on Ukrainian steel products raised the risk of a 36% year-on-year decline in domestic production.
