With SteelRadar as a media partner, the event will bring together the entire metals supply chain under the same roof, from steel to aluminum, automation to advanced manufacturing technologies.
UK Metals Expo 2025 is particularly critical in light of the recent increased emphasis on metals in the UK's industrial policies. The decision in May this year to remove the 25% import duty imposed by the US on British steel and aluminum has opened new doors for the UK metals industry. At the same time, a new agreement with the European Union has restored the country's traditional steel quota of 2.4 million tons of duty-free export rights.
UK Metals Expo 2025, which will be organized in the light of all these developments, goes beyond being just an exhibition and becomes a platform where important decisions are made for the sector and collaborations are based. The event, which hosted more than 7,500 industry professionals from 51 different countries last year, is returning with a higher number of attendees and impact this year.
The exhibition will feature over 300 exhibitors and will offer over 30 hours of free seminar programs. The event will welcome buyers, engineers, investors and decision-makers from a wide range of sectors, including automotive, defense, energy, construction and precision engineering. Three thematic stages dedicated to steel, aluminum, innovation and technology will provide in-depth content for visitors.
Confirmed exhibitors include Tata Steel, Hydro Aluminum, Swiss Steel, Epicor, MEPS, KR Saws, Langley Alloys, Selmach Machinery, JPS Machinery, HPC Laser, Van Leeuwen, Cortizo, Righton Blackburns and many more.
Including Altaş Alüminyum, Ayhan Çelik, Cel-Mer Çelik, Formal Alüminyum San. ve Tic. A.Ş., and Taşkazan Demir Çelik, 17 Turkish companies will take part in the event.
Current issues that directly affect the sector such as CBAM (Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism), green transformation, ESG criteria, scrap supply chain, trade policies and carbon trading system will also be discussed at the event. The anticipated savings of GBP 800 million in carbon costs for British producers through the linking of the UK and European Emissions Trading Systems will also be on the agenda.
UK Metals Expo 2025, which will be shaped by live demos, one-on-one business meetings, introductions of advanced technologies and strategic panels, will offer attendees a powerful experience in terms of both business development and industry visioning.
