UK Construction Week Event starts today

More than 150 hours of free CPD, product demos and latest regulations, digital technology and MMC solutions, innovative materials and new suppliers entering the UK market can be found at this fair. UKCW is the first major live event in the construction industry in two years with over 300 participants, bringing the entire industry together over three days.

Each day of the show will have a current theme focusing on sustainability on day one, diversity, equity and inclusivity in construction on day two, and big issues such as quality, social value and building safety on day three.

Exhibitors will showcase two years of exciting new product launches and innovations, presenting demos and offers on more than 6,000 products. It will feature major brands such as Google, HS2, Geberit, Hanson Plywood, Ford, Xero, Procore and the Construction Innovation Hub.

Keynote speeches will be delivered by senior leaders from McKinsey, the Construction Products Association, CIOB, Willmott Dixon, Barratt Homes, Bioregional, Grimshaw, the Sustainable Energy Association and the Construction Leadership Council, among others, on the COINS-sponsored UKCW main stage.

The COINS 'Future of Construction' seminar series will focus on how the last 18 months have changed the way we build and how it can be used in a positive way. These sessions cover updates in technology such as collaborative urban design through augmented reality, procurement, sustainability, well-being and more.

The Digital Construction Center at UKCW will also offer more than 30 presentations over three days and more than 10 hours of CPD for architects.

The Digital Construction Center is supported by Procore, organized by the UK BIM Alliance, who will offer practical case studies and high-impact training sessions every day. All seminars are free to attend and will comply with the architects' CPD.
