Türkiye's wire rod exports increased by 17.2% in April

According to data compiled by SteelRadar from the Turkish Statistical Institute (TÜİK), Türkiye's wire rod exports in April increased by 17.2% y/y from 40,958 tons to 47,984 tons. Compared to the previous month, March, it decreased by 74.1%.

Total wire rod exports in the January-April period decreased by 13.8% from 389,367 tons to 335,784 tons.

In the month in question, Libya, Australia and Chile ranked in the top 3 in wire rod exports of Türkiye. Wire rod exports from Libya amounted to 11,000 tons, followed by Australia with 7,689 tons, Chile with 6,334 tons, Bosnia-Herzegovina with 4,793 tons and Kosovo with 4,094 tons.
