Türkiye's wire rod exports increased by 121.1% in the January-May period

According to the data compiled by SteelRadar from the Turkish Statistical Institute (TÜİK), Türkiye's wire rod exports in the January-May period increased by 121.1%. Türkiye's wire rod exports in May 2024 recorded a year-on-year increase of 3.4% and a monthly increase of 0.4%.

In May 2024, Türkiye's wire rod exports rose by 3.4% compared to the same month of the previous year, from 39,805 tons to 41,137 tons. Compared to the previous month, there was an increase of 0.4%.

Total wire rod exports in the January-May period increased by 121.1%, rising from 195,738 tons to 432,721 tons.

The leading country for Türkiye's wire rod exports in May was Bosnia and Herzegovina with 6,309 tons, followed by Bulgaria with 4,850 tons, Australia with 4,256 tons, Chile with 3,947 tons, and the England with 3,598 tons.
