Türkiye's steel bar exports increased by 2.8% in January-August period

According to information obtained by SteelRadar from the Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK), Türkiye's steel bar exports in August 2024 decreased by 18.8% year-on-year to 327,178 tons from 402,961 tons.

This figure decreased by 8.1% compared to the previous month, July.

Total steel bar exports in the January-August period increased by 2.8% year-on-year from 2,330,941 tons to 2,396,850 tons.

Romania was the leading country to which Türkiye exported steel bars in August with 35,572 tons, followed by Albania with 31,034 tons, Yemen with 29,713 tons, Palestine with 28,389 tons and Cyprus with 19,860 tons.
