Türkiye's scrap imports increased by 3.6% in January-June period

According to data compiled by SteelRadar from the Turkish Statistical Institute (TÜİK), Türkiye's total scrap imports in the January-June period increased by 3.6% to 9,953,912 tons from 9,609,547 tons.

In June, Türkiye's largest scrap imports came from the United States. Imports from the US amounted to 352,899 tons, followed by the United Kingdom (125,150 tons), Russia (103,952 tons), Belgium (90,468 tons), and the Netherlands (87,607 tons).
