According to data compiled by SteelRadar from the Turkish Statistical Institute (TÜİK), Türkiye’s rebar exports in October decreased by 61.2% year-on-year, falling from 351,115 tons to 217,887 tons. Compared to the previous month, September, exports declined by 3.7%.
Total rebar exports for the January–October period, however, increased by 22.5%, rising from 2,761,634 tons to 3,381,962 tons.
In the month in question, Yemen, the United States, and Jamaica ranked as the top three destinations for Turkey’s rebar exports. Exports to Yemen totaled 44,575 tons, followed by the U.S. with 44,160 tons and Jamaica with 25,532 tons.
