According to information compiled by SteelRadar analysts from preliminary foreign trade data of the Turkish Statistical Institute (TÜİK) and the Ministry of Customs, Türkiye's iron and steel export value in October increased by 11.9% compared to the same month of last year, reaching USD 851.79 million.
In the month in question, iron and steel export values ranked eighth among the country's highest value exports.
In the January-October period of this year, it increased by 5% as yearly to USD8.97 billion compared to the same period last year
In that month, the export value of iron and steel goods ranked ninth on the list of the country’s highest value exports.
In October, the export value of iron and steel goods increased by 0.6% compared to the same month of the previous year, reaching USD 837.19 million, while in the first ten months of the year, it decreased by 1.4% compared to the same period of the previous year totaling USD 8.02 billion.
