Türkiye's HRC imports up 1% in January

According to data compiled by SteelRadar analysts from the Turkish Statistical Institute (TÜİK), Türkiye's hot rolled coil (HRC) imports in January 2024 increased by 1% y/y from 409,174 tons to 413,161 tons. This figure increased by 120.9% compared to the previous month, December.

China was the leading importing country for HRC with 148,824 tons, followed by Russia with 105,263 tons, South Korea with 56,272 tons, Egypt with 29,854 tons and Japan with 30,082 tons.
