Türkiye's HRC imports decreased by 56.9% in March

According to data compiled by SteelRadar from the Turkish Statistical Institute (TÜİK), Türkiye's HRC imports in March decreased by 56.9% y/y to 188,498 tons from 437,021 tons in the same month of the previous year. It decreased by 16.8% compared to the previous month, February.

Total HRC imports in January-March period decreased by 23.9% from 1 million 105 thousand 51 tons to 840 thousand 815 tons.

During the month in question, China, Japan and Egypt ranked in the top 3 in Türkiye's HRC imports. HRC imports from China amounted to 67,747 tons, followed by Japan with 30.121 tons, Egypt with 28,713 tons, South Korea with 22,962 tons and Russia with 12,781 tons.
