Türkiye's flat steel market stabilizes after discounts, while demand remains weak | 03 August 2026

Following the price discounts announced on the last day of July, Turkish flat steel producers did not introduce any further price revisions at the beginning of the week. Although prices have stabilized, there has been no significant recovery in trading activity. Market participants noted that purchasing continues to be largely need-based, while weak end-user demand has limited the impact of the recent price reductions.
