According to foreign trade data provided by the Turkish Statistical Institute ( TUIK), Türkiye's flat steel exports decreased by 6% in June!
Thus, Türkiye's flat steel exports decreased by 47% in June compared to the same month of the previous year, from 545 thousand tonnes to 292 thousand tonnes.
In the first month of the year, Türkiye's flat steel exports decreased by a record 55% compared to the same month of the previous year from 414 thousand tonnes to 185 thousand tonnes, starting the year with the lowest export figure of the January - June period.

On the other hand, Türkiye's flat steel exports amounted to 316 thousand tonnes in March this year, up 43% compared to February.

In April, flat steel exports decreased by 25% compared to the same month of the previous year and decreased by a record 44% compared to the same month of the previous year to 236 thousand tonnes.
Türkiye's flat steel exports increased by 31 per cent in May compared to the previous month
On the other hand, flat steel exports decreased by 27% y-o-y from 426 thousand tonnes to 310 thousand tonnes in May.
