According to information compiled by SteelRadar analysts from Turkish Statistical Institute (TÜİK) data, Türkiye's cold rolled coil (CRC) imports in October 2024 decreased by 47.3% compared to the same month of the previous year, from 99,877 tons to 52,631 tons. It decreased by 30.2% compared to the previous month of September.
Total cold rolled coil imports in the January-October period decreased by 18.5% compared to the same period of the previous year, from 772,907 tons to 629,625 tons.
China was the country from which Türkiye imported the most CRC in October, with 16,508 tons, followed by Russia with 11,272 tons, South Korea with 8,019 tons, France with 2,406 tons and the Netherlands with 2,267 tons.
