Türkiye's CRC imports decreased by 14.3% in January-September period

According to data compiled by SteelRadar analysts from the Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK), Türkiye's september 2024 cold rolled coil (CRC) imports increased by 8.7% y-o-y to 75,416 tons from 69,377 tons. It increased by 5% compared to the previous month of August.

Total cold roll imports in the January-September period decreased by 14.3% y-o-y from 673,030 tons to 576,994 tons.

In september, China was the major importer of CRC with 23,025 tons, followed by South Korea with 21,831 tons, Russia with 13,091 tons, Japan with 5,305 tons and Spain with 2,680 tons.
