According to data compiled by SteelRadar from the Turkish Statistical Institute (TÜİK), Türkiye’s CRC exports in February decreased by 43.1% year-on-year, falling from 45,393 tons to 25,843 tons. Compared to January, however, exports increased by 55.9%.
In the January–February period, total CRC exports declined by 53.8%, decreasing from 91,611 tons to 42,420 tons.
In the given month, Belgium, Canada, and the Kayseri Free Zone ranked as the top three destinations for Türkiye’s CRC exports. Exports to Belgium amounted to 4,868 tons, followed by Canada with 4,057 tons and the Kayseri Free Zone with 3,729 tons. Exports to Greece reached 3,526 tons, while shipments to Ukraine totaled 1,553 tons.
Notably, exports to Canada increased significantly from just 20 tons in the same month of the previous year to 4,057 tons. Meanwhile, exports to Belgium recorded a year-on-year increase of 445.07%.
