According to data compiled by SteelRadar from the Turkish Statistical Institute, Türkiye's cold-rolled coil (CRC) exports declined by 57.4% year on year to 20,925 tons in May 2026, down from 49,160 tons recorded in the same month of 2025. Compared to 32,918 tons exported in April, shipments also decreased by 36.4% month on month.
In the January-May period, Türkiye's total CRC exports dropped by 46.4% year on year, decreasing from 240,268 tons to 128,833 tons.
During the first five months of the year, Ukraine was the largest destination for Türkiye's CRC exports, receiving 28,436 tons. It was followed by Greece with 22,649 tons, the United States with 16,598 tons, the United Kingdom with 2,826 tons, and Estonia with 2,153 tons.
In May, Ukraine remained the leading destination for Türkiye's CRC exports, with shipments totaling 11,621 tons. It was followed by the United States with 3,039 tons, Greece with 1,665 tons, the United Kingdom with 1,575 tons, and Estonia with 1,041 tons of CRC imports from Türkiye.
