Through the information compiled by SteelRadar analystsfrom the Turkish Statistical Institute's (TUIK) and the Undersecretariat of Customs, Türkiye 's iron and steel export value in October decreased by 6.2% compared to the same month of the previous year, reaching 763.86 million USD.
In the month in question, iron and steel export value ranked ninth in the list of products with the highest export value of the country.
In the January-October period of this year, it increased by 15.8% annually compared to the same period last year, reaching 8.54 billion USD.
Iron and steel products come in at number eight on the list of the nation's highest-value exports during the relevant month.
In October, the export value of iron or steel goods increased by 2.5% compared to the same month of the previous year and reached 851.04 million USD, while in the first ten months of the year it increased by 15.8% compared to the same period of the previous year and reached 8.54 billion USD.
