According to the Communiqué, it was determined that there was sufficient information and documentation that the sale of products imported from China at dumped prices in the Turkish market caused material damage to the domestic production branch. In the examination, it was determined that imports originating from China increased both in absolute and relative terms in the 2022-2024 period, and the unit prices of these products broke and suppressed the domestic sales prices of domestic producers.
In addition, it was noted that there were negative developments in the production volume, domestic sales, profitability, inventories, employment and capacity utilization rates of domestic producers.
Within the scope of the investigation, interested parties are required to submit information and opinions to the Ministry within the specified period. It was reported that producers or exporters based in China may be taken into account as Türkiye's peer country implementing a market economy in determining the normal value.
The Ministry of Trade stated that the developments regarding the investigation process will be shared with the public.
