Türkiye, demir-çelik üretiminde 15'inci sıradan 8. sıraya yükseldi.Dünya Çelik Birliği'nin verilerine göre yılın ilk 6 ayında küresel demir-çelik üretimi, geçen yılın aynı dönemine göre sadece yüzde 1 artışla 767 milyon tona çıkarken Türkiye'nin üretimi yüzde 9 artışla 17,9 milyon ton oldu.
