According to the data provided by the Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK), wire rod exports from Turkey decreased by 45.6 percent y-o-y to around 50,000 tons in February, up 9.4 percent m-o-m. Total exports amounted to USD 35.9 million, increasing by 11.6% compared to the previous month and decreasing by 51.4% compared to the previous year.
In the January-February period, Turkey's wire rod exports decreased by 36.3% y-o-y to approximately 96,000 tons. Total exports decreased 45.1 percent ye-o-y to USD 68.1 million.
