Imports from China more than doubled to 68,600 tons as market competition for seamless steel pipe imports increased.
Compared to the first quarter of last year, imports from Russia fell by 70% to 6,100 tons and from Ukraine by 48% to 3,200 thousand tons.
The import value of seamless steel pipe fell by 1% y-o-y to $191 million.
