Turkey's hot rolled coil imports in October totaled approximately 231,000 tons, falling 47.3 percent year on year and 9.5 percent month on month. At the same time, the value of imports was approximately US$149 million, falling 22.1% month on month and 65.3 percent year on year.
In the first ten months, Turkey's HRC imports decreased by 16.7 percent compared to the same period of the previous year, amounting to 3.45 million tons. Meanwhile, the value of imports decrease 11.9% year on year.
Among these, Russia was the main source of Turkey's HRC imports with 1.04 million tons, falling 38.3 percent year on year.
