Türkiye'den Avrupa Birliği'ne 2020 yılında 6,6 milyon ton çelik ihraç edilirken farklı karbon vergilendirme senaryolarına göre çelik sektörünün karbon faturası, Avrupa'daki güncel karbon fiyatlarıyla hesaplandığında, 436 milyon dolar ile 581 milyon dolar bandında.
