Today marks the 90th anniversary of the Novolipetsk Metallurgical Plant

Exactly 90 years ago, the heart of the Novolipetsk Metallurgical Plant was lit - blast furnace No. 1 produced its first iron. The start-up of the blast furnace was a big event not only for Lipetsk, but also for the whole country. NLMK's metallurgists became a symbol of an era in which hard work and perseverance created a powerful foundation for the development of the national metallurgy.
