There will be a 26.12 percent discount on natural gas prices for industrialists and power plants.

Petroleum Pipeline Corporation (BOTAS) announced that arrangements have been made for the sale prices of natural gas.

As of March 1, 2023, the price of natural gas used by large industrial enterprises has been reduced by 20.95 percent to 26.12 percent, the price of gas for electricity generation has been reduced by 20 percent, and the price in residential buildings has been fixed.

According to the information received from BOTAŞ, a discount was made on the wholesale price of natural gas used by large industrial enterprises at rates of 20.95 percent to 26.12 percent effective from March 1, 2023.

BOTAŞ also lowered the wholesale price of natural gas for electricity generation by 20 percent. There is no change in the selling price of natural gas sold in residential buildings.

BOTAŞ officials stated that the lowest residential natural gas price in Europe after Macarnistan and Ukraine is applied in Turkey.
