The USA weekly steel production down

According to the American Iron and Steel Institute (AISI), US steel production for the week ending May 28, 2022 was 1,798,000 tons at 82.4% capacity utilization. In the corresponding week of last year, steel production was 1,834,000 tons with a capacity utilization rate of 81.0%.

Thus, the current production figures decreased by 2% compared to the previous year and increased by 0.5% compared to the previous week (1,789,000 tons, 82.1%).
