The U.S. will review China’s anti-dumping and countervailing duty measures on steel grating

The U.S. International Trade Commission (USITC) announced that the existing antidumping (AD) and countervailing duty (CVD) measures on steel grating originating in China will be reviewed as part of an expedited five-year review.

The U.S. will review China’s anti-dumping and countervailing duty measures on steel grating

According to a notice published in the Federal Register, the review will assess whether material injury to the U.S. domestic industry is likely to continue or recur if the anti-dumping (AD) and countervailing duty (CVD) measures imposed on steel grating imported from China are removed.

USITC Decides to Conduct an Expedited Review

In its assessment on August 4, 2026, the USITC found the response submitted by the domestic interested party group to the five-year review to be sufficient, while deeming the response from the respondent interested party group to be insufficient.

The Commission determined that there were no other conditions requiring a full-scope review and decided to conduct the process as an expedited review.

It was reported that the responses submitted by Nucor Grating, IKG USA, Ohio Gratings, Interstate Gratings, and Lichtgitter USA were individually deemed sufficient by the USITC.

Parties eligible to participate in the investigation may submit their written comments regarding the USITC’s decision by October 21, 2026.
