From January 20 to January 26, 2023, the composite metal trade price index for ferrous metal products in the Central region of the Russian Federation increased by 4.9 points (+0.67%).
In the previous period, this indicator increased by 3.39 points (+0.46%) and increased by -3.62 points (+0.5%) in the former period.
The following types of rolled metals are taken into account when calculating the index:
- Rebar
- Profile
- Round iron
- Cold rolled, hot rolled and galvanized flat steel
- Bracket,
- U-profile
- VGP and e/s pipes
One standard size is selected for each type of rental. During this period, prices for 3 types of rolled products decreased. There was a decrease in price (-0.19%). The types that decrease in price are round iron, e/s pipes (-0.01%) and u-profile (-0.016%). Besides these, VGP pipe prices remained stable.
The largest price increase was observed in hot-rolled sheets (+1.68%) and the smallest increase was observed in profiles (+0.09%).
