"The Communiqué Amending the Communiqué on the Inward Processing Regime", prepared by the Ministry of Trade, was published in the Official Gazette No. 33014 dated September 11, 2025.
Within the scope of the amendment, a new paragraph was added to Article 37 of the Communiqué. Accordingly, inward processing permits and approvals issued after January 1, 2022, for which the export commitment account has not yet been closed, may be granted an extension under certain conditions.
However, this regulation does not apply to permits issued for goods under tariff positions 7108, 7112.91, and 7113.19.
Those wishing to benefit from the extension must apply to the Ministry within six months for the relevant permit or approval. If the application is approved, an additional period may be granted, not exceeding three months, which is equivalent to half of the original duration.
The Communiqué entered into force on the date of its publication. The provisions of the Communiqué will be executed by the Minister of Trade.
