The 3rd International Iron and Steel Conference is just days away in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia

The event aims to shape the future of the steel industry, align it with Vision 2030 goals, and bring together global industry leaders to discuss innovations, trends, and strategies.

The conference, considered the largest gathering for the steel sector in the Middle East, will focus on efficiency, sustainability, and digital transformation in iron and steel production.

At the conference, Shukufa Sayadli, International Market Intelligence Specialist at SteelRadar, and Alberto Voltolina, Business Development Director at Russula, will lead a special session titled “Embracing Digital Transformation to Optimize Efficiency and Water Treatment in Steel Production.”

The session will address the strategic benefits of digital transformation for enhancing long-term competitiveness in steel production. Participants will learn how optimized water treatment supports both operational resilience and sustainability goals. Real-life examples of digital transformation applications that create measurable business impact in steel plants will also be presented.

This session will guide steel producers on how to use digital tools to increase efficiency, optimize water usage, and create new value across their facilities. Participants will also have the opportunity to learn how forward-thinking companies in the industry are implementing digital transformation and maintaining their competitive advantage.

The conference is organized by the Federation of Saudi Chambers and the National Steel Industry Committee. Regional units, government representatives, and industry leaders will come together at the event to expand cooperation and shape the future of the steel industry.
