Martin Lindqvist succeeds Jens Alder as Chairman of the Board of Management of Swiss Steel Group on October 31.

Swiss Steel Group board changes

Martin Lindqvist, previously elected to the Board of Directors of Swiss Steel Group at the General Assembly Meeting held on May 23, 2024, is appointed as the Chairman of the Board of Directors as of October 31. Jens Alder, whose duty has been taken over, is to continue to woks as Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of Swiss Steel Group.

Jens Alder, who has been Chairman of the Board of Directors of Swiss Steel Group since 2021, announced that the Board of Directors is pleased to welcome Martin Lindqvist as the new Chairman of Swiss Steel Group. Jens Alder added that Martin Lindqvist is now leading the transformation of Swiss Steel Group together with the entire Board of Directors, CEO Frank Koch and the Executive Management Team.

Martin Lindqvist has held various positions in the steel industry. Including as former Chairman and CEO of the Swedish steel company SSAB. He has held important positions in well-known companies such as NCC and Outokumpu Copper Strip. Today he has a role on the Board of Directors of SCA.
