Swedish steelmaker H2 Green Steel, which will build a hydrogen plant in Boden, Sweden, announced that it has secured $3.45 billion in debt financing for the plant. It is planned to start production by the end of 2025.
H2 Green Steel announced that its goal is to reduce carbon emissions by 95% compared to conventional steel production by producing 5 million tons per year by 2030.
