Sülzle Stahlpartner introduces low-carbon rebar brand

STOOX PCF Steel, used in the construction of the U5 underground rail line in Hamburg, is part of the sustainability strategy of HOCHBAHN U5 Projekt GmbH, which aims to reduce conventional CO2 emissions by 70%.

Stoox's carbon footprint is reported to be below 400 kg CO2 equivalent per tonne, below the targeted limit of 500 kg CO2e/tonne.
Sülzle reports that while documenting its carbon footprint, it monitors every stage of its products from production to logistics and downstream processes with TÜV-approved systems, while maintaining its title as the first TÜV-certified company in the distribution of rebar in Germany.
