Having started his career at Tosçelik nearly 20 years ago as a chief, Özcan has held various positions across production and operations. Following his tenure as Plant Manager, he has now been appointed to the company’s top executive position, supported by his extensive field experience and leadership background.
Commenting on his career journey, Özcan emphasized that the contributions of his colleagues, a strong culture of teamwork, and the trust and support of the board of directors have been key factors in his advancement.
Regarding the new term, Özcan stated that the company will focus on building a more sustainable, efficient, and competitive structure. He highlighted that the “green steel” approach and digital transformation will serve as the main pillars of this strategy.
Özcan also underlined that Tosçelik will continue taking steps to further strengthen its production capabilities, adding that the company remains committed to creating value and building a stronger future together.
