Second quarter unemployment figures released

Türkiye's unemployment rate remained unchanged in the second quarter, staying at 8.8%. The number of unemployed people increased by 23,000 to 3,156,000.

Second quarter unemployment figures released

The Turkish Statistical Institute (TÜİK) has released labor force statistics for the April-June 2024 period.

According to the data, the seasonally adjusted number of unemployed individuals aged 15 and over in Türkiye increased by 23,000 to 3,156,000 in the April-June period compared to the previous quarter.
