Russian Federation steel pipe imports amounted to 6,000 tons in September, valued at around $32 million. These imports represent an 8% increase in shipment volumes compared to the previous month and a 2.8-fold increase on an annual basis.
In the same period, supply costs also increased remarkably. Revenues in the January-September period were recorded at 38.6 thousand tons, 62% above the 2022 level, while the overall cost of supply was reported to have increased by 16% on a monthly basis and 2.4 times on a yearly basis. The cost of supply increased by 41%, amounting to around $198 million.
Seamless pipes make up a significant part of the supply structure, representing around 65% of total supplies.
